The Use of Local Wind Simulation in Healthcare Facilities for Disease Control

Abstract Ventilation and air circulation are essential elements in healthcare facilities. Moreover, good ventilation helps to dilute odour pollutants control the spread of disease. This generally uses mechanical ventilation, whereas use natural is encouraged by Indonesian Ministry Health World Organization due its affordability sustainability considerations. Therefore, this paper aims study optimal building composition for health facilities using ventilation. There two parts discussion manuscript. The first part shape based on local wind characteristics. second determine layout interior, adapting prevailing function. research approach venturi theory, solar atrium cross-ventilation, which simulated through several computer simulations. result showed that orchestrating a specific way, could remove disease particles provide better circulation. These findings can be new planning design
